HISTORIC LINE

We made our first sample of casserole 24 cm. 7 years ago. It was made from a 3 mm thickness clad metal sheet, copper and stainless steel, using an hydraulic press of 160 tons.
would not make sense to produce a pot with clad metals
containing aluminum as well,
70% 30% COPPER STEEL is undoubtedly superior to a pot
made of alloys clad metal having a lower percentage of copper
and more aluminum, for example: 25% Copper 50% Aluminium 25% STEEL.
Copper is not only widely used in agriculture
and in animal feed, but also in the kitchen. As widely recognized by chefs this metal has a high thermal conductivity so as to avoid the risks
of local overheating, which do "stick" the food.
Besides the bottoms of the copper receptacles are not damaged or deformed.
Copper can occur naturally or tin plated.
In general, natural copper can be used for cooking,
but not to preserve food.
acids or fatty acids that can corrode the metal and,
consequently, deteriorate the food. In these cases it is used
copper tin plated.
Here, the layer of tin protects the container from the attack of
acidic materials.
Pots made of copper are traditionally used for food production,
as polenta, cheese, vegetables, chocolate, jam and sweets and in brewing and distilling.
